Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping chooses WSI for a New Digital Presence: Website, SEO and Paid Search

Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping and Asphalt of Fairfield, Ohio has delivered new roads, complete site work, and custom asphalt paving for commercial and residential customers for over 50 years.  While they manufacture premium hot mix asphalt for all projects they install, they also offer it to construction and paving companies in Southern Ohio.  This is a new website and the first complete website for Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping using the domain of www.PremiumPavement.com.

The website targets business and municipal decision makers for full commercial site development and resurfacing pavement projects.  Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping can repave parking lots over the weekend to minimize business disruption.  They also deliver residential paving for driveways, walkways and other hard surface needs like tennis courts.  As an added value, decorative asphalt is impressive in performance and aesthetic appeal.  Finally, Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping sells premium hot mix and usually make and fill orders ahead of their needs for projects.

WSI delivered a WordPress website, and is executing Paid Search and SEO campaigns.  The goal of both is to cultivate lead generation and share Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping’s expertise.

3 Google Grants Mistakes You Can Easily Avoid

Google Grants have literally changed the course of nonprofits from steady growth to exponential growth in a matter of months. WSI has experience with the pay per click Google Ads format, but if you don’t yet, don’t worry. We have a few tips to make the most of your new advertising budget. Don’t make these common mistakes!

Google Grants

1. Not Hiring an Expert

Everyone likes to save a few bucks. A big concern with operating a business is knowing when and where to cut your costs. Running your Ads campaign is not that place!

You may be getting all of your advertising for free by getting a Google Grant, but there won’t be any benefit to you if you don’t know how to target your ads. Get yourself an expert, and do so immediately. Getting an expert to handle your account from day one will ensure that you are operating your ads at their maximum efficiency level.

You can also ask them to teach you or one of your employees a bit of what they’re doing so that you can learn as well. In fact, you can hire an expert to train you and your staff to become more self-sufficient. 

Whatever route you go, make sure someone with an expertise in pay per click ads helps you get everything off to a great start.

2. Not Using All of Your Money

The advertising money Google Grants awards each month has an expiration date, and it just happens to be at the end of each month. This isn’t like some cell phone providers that give you rollover minutes, the money does not roll over.

This hard deadline may be to kick a little procrastination out of you or to prevent a $50K advertising budget in peak months, but who knows? The point is, use your allotted funds each and every month, or you’ll feel the sting of missed opportunity and Google could take your Grant away.

This money is only here for 31 days at most, make it count!

3. Not Connecting Your Ads with Your Website

Obviously, your ads will connect to the relevant page on your website and give the person clicking more information about what they are looking for, right? Great! Because we’ve seen so many lead to a general website homepage with 8 drop-down menus, each with another 5 options on each of those menus.

Stop the chaos, please! Choices are great, but when someone clicks an ad and is directed to a basic webpage with 40 options to choose from, their next click will be to exit the site.

Why?!

People don’t want to have to search for the information they were looking for. The ad they clicked already got them where you wanted them, to your website, so the least you can do is take them to the information they were clicking on!

Having multiple options on your homepage to navigate your nonprofit is an absolutely fantastic idea (not too many please), but that should be for those that have gained an interest in what you stand for. The average person who clicks on an ad hasn’t been shown why you rock so hard yet.

Send them to the right page, and allow that to sell them on why you’re so great.

Carol Lynn Resorts, LLC  (www.clreast.com) a Park Model seasonal resort in Cape May County, NJ  has launched a multi-level digital marketing effort created by DrivenByWSI, a licensed owner of the global brand, WSI Digital Marketing.

DrivenByWSI has created a comprehensive digital marketing campaign including: new website design; PPC and Landing Page campaign to generate leads and build awareness; a six month SEO strategy complete with content development; social and review management programs.
